For laser tattoo removal, age requirements and parental/legal guardian consent may apply depending on the situation and applicable law.
Heretic Tattoo may request proof of identity where necessary to verify age or legal requirements.

The deposit confirms your appointment and reserves time in the schedule. Deposits are non-refundable.
Unless agreed otherwise, the deposit will be deducted from the final tattoo session or the final agreed session of the project.
If a client cancels too late, does not show up, arrives too late or fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions, the deposit may be forfeited.

Tattoo prices are not listed publicly on the website because every project is custom.
Price indications are shared by email or WhatsApp after reviewing the tattoo idea, placement, approximate size, complexity, references and expected session plan.
All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Each session must be paid separately unless agreed otherwise.
Payment can be made by card, cash, online payment request or another payment method accepted by Heretic Tattoo.

If you need to reschedule a tattoo appointment, you must contact Heretic Tattoo at least 7 days before the appointment.
If you reschedule at least 7 days in advance, the deposit may remain valid for the new appointment.
If you reschedule or cancel less than 7 days before the appointment, the deposit may be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to book a new appointment.
If you do not show up without notice, the deposit is forfeited and Heretic Tattoo may decide not to continue the collaboration.
10. Late arrival
If you are late, please inform us as soon as possible.
If you arrive late, the appointment may be shortened and the original end time will still apply. The full agreed price may remain due.
If you are more than 30 minutes late without notice, the appointment may be cancelled and the deposit may be forfeited.
11. Tattoo design and artwork
All tattoo designs, sketches, drawings, concepts, reference compositions and artwork created by Heretic Tattoo remain the intellectual property of Heretic Tattoo and/or the artist, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Clients may not copy, reproduce, share, sell, alter or use tattoo designs for another artist or another purpose without written permission.
A tattoo design is made for the agreed project, placement and client. It may not be used elsewhere.
Text, numbers, dates, spelling, symbols and placement must be checked carefully by the client before tattooing. Once approved by the client, errors in text, numbers or symbols are the client’s responsibility.
12. Tattoo execution and results
Heretic Tattoo performs tattoo services to the best of its ability, professional insight and artistic standards.
Tattooing is a manual and artistic process. Exact results can never be guaranteed.
The final result may be affected by, among other things:
- skin type;
- placement;
- healing process;
- aftercare;
- sun exposure;
- lifestyle;
- movement of the body;
- existing scars or tattoos;
- immune response;
- age and condition of the skin.
Heretic Tattoo is not liable for results affected by poor aftercare, incorrect information provided by the client, skin reaction, lifestyle choices or circumstances outside our control.
13. Client health responsibility
The client must provide complete and truthful information about health, medication, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, immune disorders, blood-borne diseases, healing issues or any other circumstances that may be relevant to tattooing or laser tattoo removal.
If any information changes after completing an intake or consent form, the client must inform Heretic Tattoo before the appointment.
The client remains responsible for their own health. If in doubt, the client must consult a doctor before booking or receiving treatment.
Information provided by Heretic Tattoo is not medical advice.
14. Risks of tattooing
The client understands and accepts that tattooing carries risks, including but not limited to:
- pain or discomfort;
- swelling;
- redness;
- bleeding;
- bruising;
- infection;
- allergic reaction;
- scarring;
- pigment changes;
- imperfect healing;
- need for touch-ups;
- disappointment with subjective expectations.
By booking and undergoing a tattoo treatment, the client accepts these risks.
15. Aftercare
The client must follow the aftercare instructions provided by Heretic Tattoo.
Good aftercare is essential for healing and long-term results. Heretic Tattoo is not responsible for complications, poor healing or damage caused by incorrect aftercare, sun exposure, swimming, scratching, picking, friction, unsuitable products or failure to follow instructions.
If the client has concerns during healing, they should contact Heretic Tattoo in writing and, where necessary, seek medical advice.
16. Laser tattoo removal bookings
Laser tattoo removal sessions can be booked online through Salonized.
Through Salonized, clients may book appointments, complete intake forms, answer treatment-related questions and receive appointment information.
Clients are responsible for completing all Salonized intake questions truthfully and fully.
Laser tattoo removal at Heretic Tattoo is handled by Marco Smits.
17. Laser tattoo removal intake and suitability
Before or during laser treatment, the client may be asked to provide information about:
- skin type;
- skin condition;
- tattoo location;
- tattoo age;
- tattoo size;
- ink colour;
- medical history relevant to treatment;
- medication;
- allergies;
- pregnancy;
- sun exposure;
- previous laser treatments;
- healing issues;
- treatment goal.
Heretic Tattoo may refuse or postpone laser treatment if treatment is considered unsuitable or unsafe.
The client must inform Heretic Tattoo of any changes to their health, medication, skin condition or relevant circumstances before every laser session.
18. Laser tattoo removal results
Laser tattoo removal is a process and results vary per person and per tattoo.
Heretic Tattoo will make every reasonable professional effort to treat the tattoo carefully and effectively, but we cannot guarantee full removal.
Results may depend on, among other things:
- ink colour;
- ink depth;
- ink density;
- tattoo age;
- tattoo location;
- skin type;
- immune response;
- aftercare;
- sun exposure;
- spacing between sessions;
- previous tattoo or laser work.
Some tattoos may fade significantly but not disappear completely. In some cases, traces of ink, shadowing or “ghosting” may remain visible.
The skin may not return exactly to its original appearance or colour.
19. Risks of laser tattoo removal
The client understands and accepts that laser tattoo removal carries risks, including but not limited to:
- pain or discomfort;
- redness;
- swelling;
- blistering;
- scabbing;
- temporary or permanent pigment changes;
- skin sensitivity;
- burns;
- infection;
- scarring;
- incomplete removal;
- remaining ink traces;
- unexpected skin reaction.
Heretic Tattoo is not liable if the result does not meet the client’s expectations, provided the treatment was performed with reasonable professional care.
20. Laser aftercare
The client must follow all laser aftercare instructions.
Proper healing time between sessions is necessary. Heretic Tattoo may refuse or postpone a following laser session if the skin has not healed sufficiently or if aftercare has not been followed.
The client is responsible for avoiding sun exposure, tanning beds, picking, scratching or other behaviour that may negatively affect healing.
21. Cover-up preparation
Not every tattoo needs to be fully removed. In many cases, laser fading is used to create better options for a future cover-up.
Heretic Tattoo cannot guarantee that a faded tattoo will be suitable for every cover-up design. Final cover-up possibilities depend on the remaining ink, skin condition, placement, desired design and the judgement of the tattoo artist.
22. Refusal or termination of service
Heretic Tattoo has the right to refuse, pause or terminate a service or collaboration if:
- the client provides incomplete or incorrect information;
- treatment is considered unsafe or unsuitable;
- the client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- the client behaves aggressively, disrespectfully, threateningly or inappropriately;
- the client uses discriminatory, hateful or offensive language;
- the client does not follow instructions;
- the client creates an unsafe or uncomfortable environment;
- the requested work conflicts with our artistic, ethical or professional standards.
If an appointment is terminated due to client behaviour, the agreed price may remain due and the deposit may be forfeited.
23. Studio rules
Inside the studio, the client must behave respectfully and responsibly.
The following are not allowed:
- alcohol or drug use;

Unsubscribing from marketing communication does not affect necessary service-related messages.

Clients who do not want their tattoo, treatment progress or body area photographed or published should inform Heretic Tattoo in writing.
33. Liability
Heretic Tattoo is not liable for damage, injury, infection, poor healing, scarring, allergic reactions, pigment changes, disappointment with subjective expectations or other consequences where these arise from:
- incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client;
- known or unknown health conditions;
- failure to follow aftercare instructions;
- the natural risks of tattooing or laser tattoo removal;
- client behaviour before, during or after treatment;
- circumstances outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where liability cannot legally be limited.
34. Force majeure
Heretic Tattoo is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, personal emergencies, fire, flood, extreme weather, power failure, internet failure, supplier problems, government measures, pandemics, transport issues or other force majeure events.
If an appointment cannot take place due to force majeure, Heretic Tattoo will contact the client to reschedule.
